[Baltimore] 09 Verde (Best Pizza in Baltimore)

Verde is an Italian restaurant in Canton, Baltimore. It serves good Neapolitan Pizza. Tonight we are having our first Yang-Ming alumni gathering here.

Their mozzarella cheese is home-made. Mixed with basil and black olive oil, with wood-fired baked bread, very delicious.

Their famous pizza are made with the combination of authentic ingredient and traditional Neapolitan techniques. It reminds me of "Pizzeria Oggi in Tien-Mu, Taipei City", where the best pizza in Taipei is served.

We ordered three pizzas from three of four categories.
Porketta ($19), made with herb roasted pork, smoked bufala mozzarella, parmigiano reggiano (Parmason cheese). I really love this one, very crispy, a little sweet and a little salty in taste. Never have eaten this kind of flavor in Taiwan before, really really good.

Forgot the name. Their "red pizzas" are made from their homemade tomato sauce, basil and extra virgin olive oil. On the top we can see Italian hams and parmason cheese. Another hit here.

Funghetto ($17). This white pizza flavor has mozzarella, wild muschrooms, arugula, basil, parmason cheese and truffle oil. Very much like the one I had in Taipei.

Dessert after meals is a must in an Italian restaurant.

Chocolate cake with gelato. This one is too sweet for me.
